Ben is a partner with Tenmile Companies and manages the Capital arm. He is responsible for syndication, investor relations, and compliance. Ben is also part of the construction and development management teams with direct involvement in asset performance and analysis of potential investments. While spending 15 years working in business consulting and corporate finance with EY, IBM, Hewitt Associates, 7-Eleven Corp, and SunTrust Bank, Ben began investing and developing residential real estate in Atlanta. After moving to Cleveland in 2014, he expanded his experience as lead investor in a large lakefront condominium and townhome development. In 2020, he agreed to invest and partner with his old friend, Ben Traxel, in the Tenmile venture. Ben attended Westminster College in Fulton, MO receiving a B.A. in Economics/Business Administration in 1992. Ben subsequently received his M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1998. While he enjoys playing golf and tennis, boating and skiing, spending time with his 2 young daughters is his greatest hobby. Ben is excited for the challenge of continuing to develop exciting residential and commercial real estate in new and promising markets.

Ben graduated from Southwest Missouri State University in 1992 with a degree in Communications and Kansas State University in 1997 with Architecture degree. While still in school, he completed an internship with St. Louis Design Alliance in University City, MO in 1996 and returned to the same firm upon graduation. In 2002 Ben passed his Architecture Licensing exam and became a Registered Architect. Having an NAAB accredited degree and having his NCARB Certificate he is eligible for licensure in most states and currently is licensed in Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, and Florida. In 2003 Ben relocated to Poplar Bluff, MO and opened Dille Traxel Architecture with a business partner. In 2020 Ben left this company with two others and started Tenmile Studio. His career has allowed him to design several hundred new buildings, building additions, and master plans including those for Three Rivers College and Northwest Florida State College. He has performed design services for banks, schools, athletic arenas, FEMA work, civic, industrial, retail, residential, and many other building types. Ben has been the president of Poplar Bluff Industries, has sat on several non-profit boards, and continues to be a member of the advisory board for Commerce Bank in Cape Girardeau. Ben and his wife Madawn have been married 25 years and have three boys. Sam attends Belmont University in Nashville, TN, Hank is a student at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK, and Beau is enrolled at Notre Dame Reginal High School in Cape Girardeau.
